马克·吕布镜头下的名人
马克·吕布（Marc Riboud 1923年6月24日-），法国著名摄影师，出生于法国里昂。以来自东方的延伸报道而著称。主要作品有：《The Three Banners of China》、《Face of North Vietnam》、《Visions of China》。1957年发表了报道中的第一张图片，从那时起他先后多次访问中国，观察和记录了在中国发生的若干历史事件。
马克·吕布的作品并不一定是那些惊天动地的大事，在他到世界各国旅行期间，他敏感地拍摄当地人民的生活变化，特别是通过一些细微的生活细节反映出一些重大和深远意义的内容。他不但用黑白材料拍摄新闻报道摄影，也用彩色材料拍摄，而他的这些彩色作品不但构图精彩，而且色彩优雅、细微。

The Atlantic magazine looks at the Russian space programme today
The Atlantic's 'In Focus' photo blog has collected a fascinating series of images from the Russian space program. Looking at both Zvyozdny gorodok, the training center just outside Moscow better known as 'Star City,' as well as the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the pictures give an insight into post-Shuttle space flight. Astronauts and scientists from different countries train together, as do entrepreneurs preparing for their paid trips into space. The collection uses a variety of photographic styles and beautifully conveys the faded futurism of space travel. (from The Atlantic)

亚洲摄影展 OneAsia Festival
亚洲摄影展(OneAsia Festival)是本区域盛大的摄影展览之一，展览会在2011年12月10-11日在新达城会展中心402展厅举行。讲座邀请世界著名的摄影家来主讲，本俱乐部的荣誉摄影家陈广祥先生(Mr Joseph KS Tan FCTPC)代表新加坡中华摄影俱乐部成为主讲者之一。
The Asian Geographic Magazine organize the亚洲摄影展(OneAsia Festival)workshop and exhibition on 10-11 December 2011 at Hall 402, Suntec Convention Centre. They have invited the world renowned photographers to present talks and workshops, our club Hon.Exhibitor陈广祥先生(Mr Joseph KS Tan FCTPC)represent CTPC as one of the speaker for OneAsia Festival.

The Photographic Society of America (PSA) is a worldwide organization for anyone interested in photography. Singapore ChinaTown Photographic Club (CTPC) is the Club member of PSA.
英国皇家摄影学会 RPS
英国皇家摄影学会(RPS)成立于1853年，现有来自世界各地的会员1万多人。会士(LRPS)是学会对具有杰出摄影才华的会员授予的荣誉头衔之一，其他头衔还包括硕学会士(ARPS)和博学会士(FRPS)。这三个头衔在世界摄影界享有很高声誉和价值。
The Royal Photographic Society (RPS) was founded in 1853 'to promote the Art and Science of Photography', a mission it continues to this day.The three levels of RPS distinctions were - Licentiateship (LRPS), Associateship (ARPS), Fellowship (FRPS).
